“That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat.
There were also other boats with him.
A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”
He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!”
Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid?
Do you still have no faith?””

Of a sudden in life , you tend to evaluate your stand in Christ and you wonder why life seems unbearable to you
It appears like the more you keep your relationship with God intact , the more troubles and storms of life rises up
Everything appears dark and confusing to you
And you question why you’re forsaken
Beloved , considering the fact that you’re saved, the devil can no longer dictate the affairs of your life
Jesus told the disciples , let us go to the other side because he saw a good opportunity to see how the disciples will run their faith in the midst of the storm
Jesus saw the storms ahead, that’s why he went to sleep immediately he got into the boat
Many believers today are like the disciples , afraid and confused about life in the midst of storm
Listen, stop looking for Jesus outside the storms of life. Have you forgotten that he lives in you
That means, he is in the storm with you
He wants you to speak to the storm
He wants you to put your faith to work
All that Jesus did was speak to the wind
He rebuked the waves and it was still
Don’t prolong your storms
Speak to it now and it will obey you
