TOPIC: Activating The Glory of God
BIBLE TEXT-: 2 Corinthians Chapter 3 verse 4 - 6
We can’t understand fully how to activate God’s glory if we don’t know what is really the glory of God.
So from the beginning (Moses) we see something spectacular about the glory of God
We saw Moses do awesome things
We see Gideon do mighty things
We’ve also seen our brother Elijah do great things
And on and on to Isaiah
Then lets jump to Jesus, who did awesome things and guess what ?
In all these things, Jesus said greater works than these shall you do
The believer is the true nature of God
2 Corinthians 5 verse 17
Because you are in Christ you have a new habitat
You think new
You talk new
You live new
You act new
You don’t think like the world does, in fact what guides you is because of the new life you’ve received.
The moment you accepted Christ, the nature of whatever is in christ is at work in you
And to crown it all, he knew we were never going to know certain things, so he left the Holy Spirit with us
This spirit is to teach us all things
-John 14 verse 26
He is ready to teach us anytime
Now the question is, do most believers know the truth?
Well they do, but the unfortunate things is that they don’t walk in it
You see what you have and you’re not ready to walk in can never be activated in your life
However the moment you accept it and decide to walk in it, an activation is turned on
You see a lot of us need to know that what you’re praying for that Jesus should come and do for you- he keeps telling you that the power to doing those things resides in you
The moment you can’t recognize it, you will never walk in It.
Ladies and gentlemen, what we sometimes desire as the glory of God, are actually the wonders of God.
Of course, are we saying that those things are not Gods doing…? NO
What I’m saying is those things are purely the expressions of the real glory
So next time you see a wonder, see that its just a product of his glory!
So Jesus needed to manifest this glory so that all men would see it and walk in it. But he had to come in flesh
- John 1 verse 1 - 5
- John 1 verse 1 - 14
he became flesh and dwelt among men
He made himself of no reputation so that a replicate of what you should be can be shown to you -John 1 verse 12
So as many as received him to them he gave power
Follow me now
When he died and resurrected, that power he had always wanted to give became relevant to you - Romans 8 verse 11
For if the spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you “Mortal bodies” that same same spirit shall quicken
The word quicken there means “revitalize”
waaaoh!
Listen to this!
The moment you can recognize first that power in you, you have started taking the step to activating the power in you
The second step is the use of your mind
He will keep him in “perfect peace” whose mind is stayed on him - Isaiah 26 verse 3
**Romans 8 verse 5 - 6
See guys when your mind is stayed on the things that bother you, you won’t be able to activate the glory of God in you
Because God’s glory moves with a mindset that always stayed on him
When your mind is not stayed on him, what you have more is distractions
Thats why those that mind the things of the spirit do the things of the spirit naturally
You radiate the glory of god where ever you are because you’re mindful of it. Because you’re conscious of it
It’s not just okay to know that a glory resides in you, its another thing to see that you’re a carrier of that glory and to also be conscious of that glory.
On the road, in the office, times when you’re scared, you must be conscious of that glory.
The last step one is to speak
Now because you’re aware of that glory, and you’re mindful of it, you activate it into the natural by speaking them into reality
You see the glory of nature was in God
God was aware of it
He was mindful of it
And he spoke it
You need to start speaking the right words
As you speak the right words, the glory that resides in you begins to activate
A glory that doesn’t speak out cannot be actualized
So where am I really going in all these
Guess what the glory of God is “YOU”
You’re the glory of God
When they are looking for who’s the glory of God
Let them call you
You know why
Because you’re the resident address of the Holy Spirit.. Ayaaah!
The holy ghost dwells in you
** John 16 verse 13 - 14
Now you have power because the Holy Ghost is in you
You’re the expressions of the glory of God
But you need to begin to speak it into reality
Speak those great and mighty things into reality
As you speak them
Scripture says that the words I speak they are spirit and they are life
That is why for every journey the lord is taking you through he has given you necessary tools
Speak them into reality
Stop wasting time telling God to give you tools
He has given you already
A fire is not about to burn
A fire is burning already on the inside of you
The father only wants you to speak
So as I conclude, I’ll give you an assignment
Write down ten things in your closet and speak life into those things daily
And then after speaking rejoice in the lord
Dance, praise him, for he’s done it already
I call you blessed!
